SUMMARY:Public Starwatch
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a Starwatch at the Tohickon Boat Launch parking lot. Participation is free and open to the public. The astronomers from Bucks-Mont Astronomical Association will have telescopes available to look through and will be on hand to answer questions. (no rain date)\n\nBring binoculars or your own telescopes if you have them. We ask that you leave your pets at home for the safety and comfort of other participants and to prevent potential damage to delicate equipment.\n Starwatches take place in the grassy median between the two upper parking tiers. Please park facing away from this grassy area to reduce glare from headlights.\n Participants are welcome to arrive around 7:00 for pre-Star Watch activities while we wait for darkness. Stargazing will commence closer to 7:45 PM\, and end at 10:30 PM.\n Please check this website for updates in case the weather leads to postponement. Postponements\, if any\, will be communicated here by 5:00 PM on the day of the event.\n\n*** Club Members\, please wear your BMAA ID badge/lanyard **** \n\nThe use of laser pointers is limited and restricted to trained Club Members and Resource Rangers.
