Join us for a Star Watch at the Tohickon Boat Launch parking lot. Participation is free and open to the public. Our astronomers will have telescopes available to look through and will be on hand to answer questions. Please check this website for updates in case the weather leads to cancellation. Cancellations, if any, will be communicated here by 5:00 PM on the day of the event. In addition to our regular agenda items there will be a Special Presentation on "Electronically assisted observing" by Gary Sprague This presentation will descibe approaches for observing that combine elements of visual observing with camera assist. This technique can be used for planetary as well as deep sky observing. Please use the entrance to the right of the main entrance, look for the yellow and black BMAA sign. |
