DESCRIPTION:BMAA is inviting you to a scheduled Monthly Meeting.\nIn addition to our regular agenda items there will be a Special Presentation on “Electronically Assisted Astronomy” by Gary Sprague\nThis presentation will describe elements of Electronic Assisted Astronomy (EAA); what is it\, how it differs from “standard” astrophotography and its applications. EAA is an approach to real-time visual observing using analog and digital video cameras. It offers a different approach from standard astrophotography and can be less complicated and more affordable. Images are viewed in real time on a monitor or a computer. The presentation will describe typical equipment available and advantages of various approaches. \nPlease use the entrance to the right of the main entrance\, look for the yellow and black BMAA sign.

DESCRIPTION:This “Make-Up Star Watch” has now been changed to CANCELLED due to impending meteorological gloom and doom on Saturday\, July 18th. \nJoin us for a Star Watch at the Tohickon Boat Launch parking lot. Participation is free and open to the public. Our astronomers will have telescopes available to look through and will be on hand to answer questions. \nThe event opens at 8:45 PM with Pre Star Watch Activities followed by the Star Watch at 9:15 PM. \nPlease check this website for updates in case the weather leads to cancellation. Cancellations\, if any\, will be communicated here by 5:00 PM on the day of the event.
